Update from the last few days...

So there is not much new to share - which is actually best case scenario for this sort of thing.   The testing at M.D. Anderson and the consult with the doctors there was fairly consistent with the findings of the other doctors at Methodist.  There is still a MRI scheduled for Friday to rule out any other finding but there is very little concern of that showing anything concerning.  Treatment is the next step.  Next week, Alice has several appointments Monday and Tuesday that will kick off the "get rid of the cancer mission".  Surgery and chemo are on the calendar and will be effective.  Next week will determine which one goes first as this is the part of medicine that is an art rather than a science.   The science says they have options and so the art of balancing treatment with real life is up for consideration.  Pray for discernment as those decisions are being made.

Alice and Ben told the little kids over the weekend about the diagnosis. They are processing all the information and are asking questions. One of the kids had the following response to the news - which I just love....
Little voice asked, "So, they are going to take this out of her body?"
They responded with a, "yes".
Then little one said, "they have done this before and lots of times?"
They responded with "yes".
Little one responds, "OK"!
And there were no more questions from this one.
Any guess which little one it was?  Hint this gender is known for just liking the facts and is in the minority in Bauderland.  Love that perspective it makes sense. Just precious!!!
